Parimatex Lines Target Demographic Groups

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 12/18/2006

Dayton, N.J. — Parimatex Group is readying five collections for the New York Home Fashions Market in February, including lines for tween and infant/kids.

“We are now tailoring our products to different market segments, which include gender, age and lifestyle,” said Lisa Gabriele Maurer, product development coordinator.

For adults, Parimatex will debut Urban Poise featuring designs inspired by art and culture; as well as Authentic, a redesign of the company's classic collection.

Parimatex will show two lines for tweens: Extreme Bedding for boys, and Dreams for girls. The Peas collection will target infants to school-aged children.

“These collections are a new concept for Parimatex. We have offered juvenile bedding in the past, but did not concentrate on certain age groups and genders,” Maurer said. “This is an age group that needs separation from the juvenile market to appeal to them.”

Flexible set-ups will be the key to all programs, she added. Parimatex will offer each collection as duvets, comforter sets, bed ensembles or room solutions (ranging up to 22 pieces). The program is open to all channels, and pricing depends upon customer requirements.

“We are leaving the choice up to our customers,” Maurer said.
