Revman Taps Aussie Talents

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 4/17/2006

New York —Revman International debuted a pair of bedding collections from “down under” during Spring Market in a cooperative effort with Linen House International.

AuraHome by Australian designer Tracie Stevens is aimed at a sophisticated look, while the popular Hiccups brand plays to the fun and imagination of childhood.

AuraHome reflects a lifestyle inspired by exotic locales with a modern, yet classic appeal. The bed linens and accessories are highly textured with detailed embroidery, jacquard weaves, rich tones and intricate embellishments.

“This has a great contemporary sensibility,” offered Diane Piemonte, vp of creative services, describing the AuraHome beds. “It's a whole lifestyle look.”

Decorative embellished pillows and throws rounded out the line.

Four Hiccups beds also debuted from Linen House International. The designs are marked by appliqué motifs, fleece, flannelette and cute prints that coordinate with throws, floor rugs, character-shaped bean bags and soft toys.

The designs are Fairy Shopping, Monster Mash, Princess Parade and Krazy Kritters.

Revman also debuted new ensembles in its exclusive Laura Ashley Lifestyles, Laura Ashley Home (the open line), Manor Hill and Nicole Miller lines.
