Oriental Weavers Promotes Belak

Dalton, Ga. —Area rug importer and manufacturer Oriental Weavers USA has promoted Sam Belak to vp sales for its Oriental Weavers of America brand. He was most recently Sphinx by Oriental Weavers vp sales for the Northeast region, a post he held since joining the company more than eight years ago.
Belak is now responsible for the management and development of major business segments, including home centers, mass merchants and national retail channels. He reports to Mike Riley, president of Oriental Weavers USA Inc.
“Sam has a keen understanding of the market and the direction Oriental Weavers is moving globally,” said Riley. “His leadership and proven success in management and market development will play a pivotal role in furthering the company's mission and growth strategy.”
Earlier in his career, Belak was with Shaw Industries for 10 years, working during that time in various management capacities, lastly as the home center division manager for the Eastern U.S. region.
