Linens 'n Things Taps Homler for Marketing Post

Clifton, N.J. —The new chief of Linens 'n Things appears to be moving quickly to build his team; the retailer named Robert Homler senior vp marketing. He will report directly to Robert DiNicola, chairman and ceo.
Homler was executive vp of nutrition retailer GNC for the past year; the controlling stockholders of both GNC and Linens 'n Things are affiliates of Apollo Management.
During more than 35 years in retailing, Homler has also served as president of merchandising and marketing for Levitz Furniture and in senior roles at Macy's and Federated Department Stores.
