VKO taps Friedman

BROCKTON, MA -Less than two months after VKO purchased Audrey Table Linens, Homemaker Industries, another division of VKO, has announced several management changes in both its Audrey and Homemaker divisions.
Audrey Friedman, the designer and owner behind Audrey Table Linens, has become president of design for both Homemaker and Audrey.
"This is the first time that we've had someone in house specifically for design," said Jeff Vaughn, sr. vp, sales and marketing. Friedman owned and operated Audrey Table Linens for almost three decades.
Vaughn himself will be responsible for the marketing of both Homemaker and Audrey, as well as the sales of Homemaker.
Suzy Bangs has been appointed vp, sales, for the Audrey division. Reporting to Vaughn, she will focus on growing the current customer base, gaining market share with existing and new customers, developing product and all of the other functions of sales management, working out of her offices in Chicago.
"Suzy's extensive knowledge of retail and selling is highly regarded in the marketplace," said Vaughn. "We are excited about Suzy's ability to listen to what our customers are asking for and then deliver."
With extensive experience in the home fashion and floorcovering industries, Bangs was most recently vp, sales, at Robin Rug, Bristol, RI. She has also worked at Sears in buying and marketing.
