Garden Ridge Comps Jump

Houston —Garden Ridge stated that June comp sales increased 9.9 percent over last year and gross margin dollars were up 6.2 percent.

For the fiscal year to date, comp sales are up 6.3 percent.

“The response from customers to our seasonal offerings has been strong,” said Mary McNabb, CEO.

However, she cautioned that July would more likely be a flat sales month based on calendar shifts and advertising changes.
