Hancock Fabrics Names Kennedy to Top Marketing Post

Baldwyn, Miss. —Hancock Fabrics has hired Kathleen Kennedy as senior vp and chief marketing officer. With responsibility for marketing, sales promotion and branding strategy, Kennedy will report to Jane Aggers, ceo of the 443-unit home décor and crafts retailer.
Kennedy was most recently executive vp, corporate marketing at vFinance, a financial service firm; prior to that she was vp customer development at Office Depot. She held previous executive posts at OfficeMax, Broadway Stores and the advertising agency OgilvyOne & Mather.
