Robert Allen Group Shifts Executives, Managers

New York — In moves designed to strengthen both its contract and residential sales organization, The Robert Allen Group has tripled its executive roster in contract and doubled its residential ranks.

Robert Duban has been named director, contract sales — West. He formerly was director, residential sales — West. Leslie Beech has joined the company as director, contract sales — East. She had been with Scalamandre where she was national sales manager of contract and hospitality sales as well as contract design director. Both Duban and Beech are responsible for new business development and guidance to independent contract sales representatives in their territories.

William Elliot, formerly manager, contract sales for New York City, has been promoted to senior manager, contract sales for New York City and New England.

Duban, Beech and Elliot report to Arthur Friedman, vp of commercial accounts, national accounts and key accounts.

Margaret (Maggy) Milford-Altan has been promoted to director, national accounts. Previously senior manager, fabric merchandising, she also reports to Friedman.

Dan Payne, formerly director, residential sales — Northeast, has been promoted to operating vp, residential sales — East. Payne and Tom Titus, who continues as operating vp, residential sales — West, report to Paul Sarazin, senior vp, sales.

Replacing Payne as director, residential sales — Northeast, is Michelle Paul-Bagley, formerly director, residential sales — Southeast. Stefan Lasek has been promoted to replace Paul-Bagley. He formerly was showroom manager for Dania, Fla.

Joe Kattenhorn has joined the company as director, residential sales — West, replacing Duban. He has worked with the company as an independent sales representative for the past 19 years.

Paul-Bagley and Lasek report to Payne; Kattenhorn reports to Titus.

Jeff Cordover, president of The Robert Allen Group, described the changes as “a series of internal promotions that will strengthen our sales leadership and increase our company's focus on our core businesses.”
