Feizy Rugs Taps Sorrow for Product Development

Dallas —Feizy Rugs has appointed Steve Sorrow to the new position of vp for design and product development. Reporting to owner and ceo John Feizy, Sorrow is responsible for the management of the in-house design studio and overseas designers. He collaborates with sales staff and clients in the development of client-specific products and serves as the primary liaison between Feizy and licensors.

Sorrow brings about a decade of experience to his new post. Most recently, he worked as vp, design and product development, at Oriental Weavers of America; prior to that he was with Beaulieu Home Fashions/Springs Industries in the same capacity.

“Although he is a veteran of the industry, his approach to design is always fresh,” said Feizy. “And his excellent rapport with clients allows an environment of creativity to flourish, enabling us to design product that is right for them and for the marketplace as a whole.”
