Louisville Bedding Promotes Walters

Louisville, KY — Louisville Bedding Company has promoted Scott Walters to national merchandising manager-bedding.
Walters, who has been serving in the capacity of director of product development-basic bedding, will assume responsibilities formerly held by David Roshberg, who left the company in December. In his new role Walters will spearhead new bedding product development, packaging design, licensing arrangements and advertising.
Walters joined Louisville Bedding in January 2004 and has been focusing his energies on contract negotiations with current and potential licensing agents.
Prior to his affiliation with Louisville Bedding, he served as merchandising manager at Springs Industries and has also held buying and marketing positions with LinenSource, May Department Stores, Macy's and Rich's/Lazarus.
