Global Connections Will Go to the Source

New York — Some 300 exhibitors have signed up for the spring session of Global Connections, the sourcing show that will take place March 28 to 30 in advance of the New York Home Textiles Show at the Jacob Javits Center.
The show, produced by George Little Management, targets U.S. importers, distributors, manufacturers and large-volume retailers seeking to source directly from overseas producers, with exhibitors hailing primarily from Asia.
In March, a new group from Egypt will join international contingents and exhibitors from China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand.
On opening day of the show, Global Connections will present a one-day, comprehensive conference consisting of three seminars, providing essential information on importing and sourcing home textiles.
The following day will bring a business-to-business event for exhibitors, New York Market showroom tenants and exhibitors from the New York Home Textiles Show, which takes place March 31 to April 3.
The New York Home Textiles Show, which targets retailers of high-end finished home fashion goods, will feature about 200 companies from 13 countries including Canada, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
