WP Home Will Unveil Princess Natasha License

By Staff -- Home Textiles Today, 1/2/2006

West Point, Ga. — WestPoint Home will debut a full line of licensed bedding and bath products featuring Princess Natasha, an online character property from an original series on KOL, America Online's service for kids.

The line debuts at spring market, with expected fall 2006 shipping. In bedding, it will include sheeting, comforters, bedspreads, blankets, throws, decorative pillows and accessories. The bath collection will feature towels and towel sets, bath sheets, shower curtains, hooks, and such accessories as tumblers, soap dishes, wastebaskets, lotion pumps, wall borders and rugs.

“The Princess Natasha series is attracting a significant following and offers WestPoint Home a new opportunity to speak to our market both online and on television,” said WestPoint CEO Joseph Pennacchio. “This license offers significant new marketing possibilities for us.”

In addition to the KOL webisodes, Princess Natasha will soon be featured in a regular show on cable television's Cartoon Network. Merchandising is expanding to new licensed apparel and toy lines.
