James Mammarella Joins HTT as Managing Editor

New York — With the current issue, Home Textiles Today welcomes James Mammarella as managing editor. An editorial pro with two decades of experience, he also brings a comprehensive knowledge of retailing, licensing and branding.

Mammarella was most recently a partner and creative director in the brand development consultancy Hacker Dolan + Partners, which provided licensing and marketing services for fashion clients including Nicole Miller and Russell Simmons' Phat Farm.

As the founding editor and associate publisher of License! Magazine, Mammarella led his team to a Neal award, known as the “Oscars” of business publishing. He had previously won top honors at Lebhar-Friedman, Inc. where as senior editor for DSN Retailing Today, his 1994 report on Wal-Mart's image-management challenges won the Godfrey Lebhar Award. While at DSN, he supervised the ancillary publication Home Market Trends, gaining insights into the home products merchandising industry that he has continued to build on through the present.
