Kitan Teams With Renaissance

New York — Kitan, the Israel-based textiles company that produces and markets Royal Sateen bedding, has joined forces with Renaissance America to market its Kitan Studio in the United States.
The Kitan Studio brand is being offered to U.S. retailers on a private label basis, explained Adi Livneh, president of Kitan.
DWI Holdings continues as the sole marketer of the Royal Sateen brand in the American market, Livneh said. Kitan is the licensee of the Esprit home furnishings brand which is being marketed in the U.S. by Renaissance America.
The Kitan Studio program will take advantage of the company's domestic vertical production as well as global sourcing as necessary, said Charles Schlang, CEO of Renaissance America. The Kitan Studio Collection is available at the Renaissance America showroom at 261 Fifth Ave., and will be featured at the Kitan stand at Heimtextil in Frankfurt, January 2006, as well as at Kitan's headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel.
