New York — Creative Home Furnishings has jumped into the window business with a license called the Savvy Home Collection that encompasses window treatments, kitchen tiers and hardware by designer/inventor Lisa Granger.
The program features three innovations/product enhancements in window: the Savvy Panel with patent-pending corded spine for easy grip on rings and symmetrical presentation; the Paris Pleat with permanent pleat stitch at the top that doesn't require pins; and embellished decorative rings.
Window panels are all lined and come in poly taffeta or charmeuse taffeta constructions that work with any ringed hooks. Kitchen tiers are designed for larger, more opulent, kitchen/great room spaces.
There are a total of six panel styles available in seven colors featuring vertical embroidery, an embroidered header, stripes or solid color looks. This new program can be customized to the retailer's needs and will address all channels of distribution.
The company is also featuring a new licensed artist in tapestry decorative pillows, Alan Giana, who is known for landscapes and scenic artwork. Creative Bath has held the Alan Giana license in bath accessories for a number of years.
In bedding, Creative Home has introduced eight ensembles addressing contemporary, Southwestern, masculine, tropical, beach, novelty or younger lifestyles plus retro-inspired vertical panel-print bedspreads with outline stitching and puff filling as part of the design.
In decorative pillows, the company is focusing on global, country chic, coastal, gaming room and regional lifestyle themes.
In the licensed Echo line, new patterns included Butterflies, Pop Art, Ombre Effect, African Floral, Applique Butterfly and Applique Leaf, and the Sari group.
