Textiles Show Honors Best

New York — The New York Home Textiles Show honored best new product award winners and finalists in five categories, along with a best of show at the Jacob Javits Center.
The winners and finalists were:
Best of Show: Prairiedog Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Japan) for its tasty guest towels: the café towel and the cake towel.
Bed: Hudson Industries, Inc. (Richmond, Va.) for its Sleep Wedge, for control of acid reflux and snoring.
Finalists: Sleeptek Mfg. (Ottawa, Ontario) for its Greensleep Valini 2000, wool-filled, organic cotton velour knit cover. Niu-Line (Monterey Park, Calif.) for its Snow Bean Pillow.
Bath: Forza & Company (Berkeley, Calif.) for its 100 percent cotton, organic Turkish Tradition towel.
Finalists: Hamam (Denizli, Turkey) for its towels, bathrobes and body essentials. Terry Fab, Ltd. (Jaipur, Rajasthan, India) for its organic, zero-twist towel.
Kitchen/Table: The Dutch Lady (Arlington, Va.) for its Christmas tablecloth. (Booth 1035)
Finalists: House of Sharon (Silver Spring, Md.) for its 100 percent Damask Christmas tablecloth. Now Designs (Blaine, Wash.) for its embroidered hand towel.
Home Accessories: Alpha Corp. (Ludhiana, India) for its Galaxy hand-woven, embroidered, mohair blend bouclé throw.
Finalists: Taurus Exports (New Delhi, India) for its textured, decorative pillows. Kkooll Collections (New York) for its silvered blown glass vessels.
Home Apparel: Dream Designs Co., Ltd. (Vancouver, B.C.) for its organic pajamas and facecloth.
Finalists: Kookoon (Gardena, Calif.) for its 100 percent silk nightgown. Nan Tong Best Bedding & Fabric Co., Ltd. (Jiangsu, China) for its Boca terry robe.
