Revman Launches Luxury Echo

By Michele SanFilippo -- Home Textiles Today, 10/3/2005

New York — Revman International will debut a new luxury bedding collection for Echo Home and add a master-bedroom label to its Izzy bedding and bath surfer brand at the upcoming New York Home Textiles Market.

Six ensembles will be shown in the luxury Echo line ranging from graphic patterns inspired by African block prints to elegant paisleys, geometric jacquards and stripes, all interpreted for the high-end customer in Echo's signature color and aesthetic.

The new collection features 400-count sateen sheeting and a variety of upscale fabrics in accessories including linen/cotton, herringbone yarn dyes, dupioni, charmeuse, metallic-accent jacquards, fine-weave sateen, and faux suede with piecing, detailed quilting, beading and embroidered touches to add depth and textural interest.

“With growing consumer interest in higher thread counts and more luxurious product attributes, we both felt it was time to expand their brand to encompass the next level as well,” explained Richard Roman, president and CEO of Revman International.

“The new Echo luxury bedding collection is modern, comfortable, affordable and trend-right, which sets it apart from the formal and traditional luxury brands,” added Steven Roberts, president and CEO of The Echo Design Group. “We wanted to take the spirit of our Echo print line and layer on luxurious fabrics, embellished details and higher thread-count sheets. This is how people want to live today — surrounding themselves with livable luxury.”

Roberts continued that bringing together the current bedding line with this luxury collection, reflects the true breadth and spirit of Echo's women's fashion accessories.

On the other hand, Revman's expansion of its Izzy brand with separate label, Nine Palms, is inspired by resorts from around the world. The new collection features premium cotton sateen sheeting with a mix of jacquards, yarn dyes and other accent fabrics such as faux suede and linen enhanced with decorative stitching and fabrication details.

Four bedding ensembles and coordinating bath collections inspired by exotic locales and ocean retreats will be offered. They are: Bali Sanctuary in tonal reds; Villa del Mar in a palette of aquamarine, opal and lagoon; Bungalow Villa, a neutral story; and Banyan Bay in palm, kiwi and citron.
