HFPA Talks Hot Button at Meeting

New York —The Home Fashions Products Association will host a discussion of “Hot Button Industry Issues” on Nov. 16 following its annual membership meeting.
Topics to be discussed include the impact of China, the question of new safeguard quotas and the possibility of new flammability regulations.
The session's guest speaker will be Erik Autor, vice president of the National Retail Federation. HFPA legal counsel Robert Leo will address governmental and regulatory issues.
The event will take place at the Fashion Institute of Technology, 27th Street and 7th Avenue, in The Alcove.
Continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m., followed by the membership meeting and election of new officers at 8:30 a.m. The Issues session will run from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m.
