VSG Adds Personnel, Expands Showroom

New York —Virtual Sales Group recently had some personnel changes.
Jeffery Fine has joined VSG Home as executive vice president, responsible for product development, product penetration/placement growth, and a focus on the company's new top-of-bed program.
He brings over 20 years experience in retailing, product planning, purchasing (catalog, television) and product development. Fine will also focus on VSG's television and catalog retail businesses.
Richard Varriale has joined VSG Home as vice president of strategic accounts.
He has more than 30 years of experience in product development, product manufacturing, sales, and brand positioning. Varriale will focus on strategic corporate accounts and exclusive product development for those customers.
Mark Kumpel has joined the company as operations and independent sales manager.
He will be responsible for day-to-day organization of customer service and customer satisfaction. Kumpel will also be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the independent representatives. He brings over 25 years experience in amateur and professional sports (USA Hockey USA Olympics, NHL), and professional sports management.
The company has also expanded its showroom at 314 5th Ave. to keep pace with growth in its Home Textiles Division.
VSG's existing 4th floor showroom will be expanded as the company continues to focus on home décor and floor products (including machine-made and hand-made rugs, scatters, accents, etc). The new 5th floor showroom will be dedicated to luxury linens, top-of-bed, high-quality towels (Egyptian cotton, Turkish, and bamboo), fleece, comforters/quilts, and memory-foam sleep products.
