Susie Coelho Brings Her Style to Mervyn's

New York —Susie Coelho, best-selling author and a host on cable television's HGTV, has partnered with Mervyn's to design her first collection of casual and modern home under the name “Susie Coelho Style.”

The line debuts in all stores on Aug. 1 and comprises moderately priced bedding, bath and tabletop goods inspired by Coelho's East Indian and Portuguese heritage and her experiences growing up in England and France.

“My goal when designing the line with Mervyn's was to offer a multitude of affordable styling options, so that any room can be easily transformed with just the simple addition of a few key pieces,” said Coelho, who hosts the two HGTV television series — “Outer Spaces” and “Surprise Gardener.”

Susie Coelho Style debuts with four bedding collections, which include comforter and sheet sets, euro shams, quilted coverlets, coordinating throws and decorative pillows. Each collection offers numerous styling options with its array of colors, fabrics, textures and detailing, including appliqué, embroidery, sequins and ruffles, among other embellishments. The 300-count, 100 percent cotton sateen sheet sets will be available in eight mix-and-match colorways.

The bathroom collection includes 100 percent zero-twist cotton towels in 10 vibrant colors, also intended for mixing and matching and made to coordinate with the bedding. Also part of this offering are chenille bath rugs, as well as bath accessories in both hammered ceramic and frosted-glass styles.
