Claire Murray Teams With Riegel
Baby Collection to be Led by Riegel's Hyde

Johnston, S.C. — Claire Murray, a designer of rugs, bedding, and other home textiles, is adding a collection of infant bedding and layette products to her roster of offerings through a recent partnership with Riegel, a division of Mount Vernon Mills.
Together, under a licensing agreement, they are producing the new Claire Murray Baby collection, which will be led by Cheryl Hyde, Riegel brand manager.
“Claire Murray's signature designs and the richness of her unique color palette, combining soft colors and splashes of primary colors, will be beautifully translated into our expanding line of Riegel Infant Bedding,” Hyde said.
The Riegel Consumer Division manufactures for the retail industry infant bedding products, including crib blankets, sheets, bumpers, comforters, dust ruffles, towels, bibs, receiving blankets and gift sets. It produces lines for several major brands, including Carters, Baby Care and Disney.
“This partnership is seen as a natural alignment towards the home decorating market and is a complement to our existing Carter line of infant bedding,” said Chris Feldt, vice president of merchandise and sales, Riegel.
The line comprises eight collections, including Baby on the Farm, a new take on farm animal themes and country checks.
