LIS Corp. names Russo to president

ANSONIA, CT -LIS Corporation announced the appointment of Stephen Russo to president of the company.
Russo will be responsible for all phases of corporate business including internal operations, development of external market opportunities and mergers and acquisitions for the companies under the LIS umbrella.
LIS is an investment company with holdings in the bedding, cosmetic and hotel industries.
Russo's first position with LIS was as president and coo of Premier Bedding Group in Tampa, FL.
He has also been president of Latex International and Latex Foam Products, both of which are headquartered here.
Prior to working for LIS, Russo was senior vp of Vernay Laboratories in Ohio.
"My experience leading Latex International, Latex Foam Products and Premier Bedding Group has given me considerable insight into the mattress industry and a strong understanding of the LIS business," Russo said.
"I look forward to the new challenges of leading LIS and growing our latex business," he added.
