Upper Saddle River, N.J. — Hunter Douglas, a manufacturer and marketer of custom window coverings, has initiated a trio of management changes.
Dominique Au-Yeung, previously general manager of the Hunter Douglas Northern California Fabrication Division, has been promoted to president and general manager of the Hunter Douglas National Accounts Group.
The group includes the Alta and National Accounts divisions and is based in Los Angeles. He succeeds the late Don Lumbatis, who passed away on Jan. 8.
Stephan Pirylis has been appointed to succeed Au-Yeung as general manager of Hunter Douglas Northern California based in San Jose, Calif., and reports to Scott Smith, president of the Hunter Douglas Fabrication Division.
Marko Sonnenberg, president of the Turnils Group, a manufacturer and distributor of window covering components, has also been given additional responsibilities. Au-Yeung and Tom Marusak, president and general manager of Comfortex Window Fashions, will now report directly to Sonnenberg.
Sonnenberg will continue to report to Marv Hopkins, president and CEO of Hunter Douglas.
