Murphy to Depart Hollander

Boca Raton, Fla. — Ron Murphy, vice president of basic bedding for the Laura Ashley and mattress pad divisions at Hollander Home Fashions, will be leaving the company.

Andy Schantz, vice president of basic bedding for the down comforter division, will assume this position.

Murphy will maintain his position through the end of April to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities to Schantz, who has more than 10 years of industry experience in product development, design, merchandising, quality assurance, marketing, and sales management.

Murphy explained his departure by saying, “It has been very rewarding for me to be part of the success of the Laura Ashley and mattress pad divisions, but after much consideration, I have decided to pursue personal goals outside of the textile industry.”
