St. Louis —Dry Ice, Inc., a specialty retailer of home furnishings for young women, has named retail veteran Ann Iverson acting CEO.
Iverson, who has also been named to the company's board of directors, succeeds co-founder Steven Thomas, who will maintain his board position and serve as a strategic advisor to the company.
Iverson most notably has held chief executive titles at Kay-Bee Toys, Laura Ashley and Mothercare and began her senior career at Bloomingdale's as head of stores.
She recently led the growth and expansion of Brooks Sports as chairman of the board.
Both co-founders John Oehler and Rick Bradshaw will continue in their executive management roles as chief merchant and head of stores and operations, respectively.
Frank Johnson, formerly of Today's Man, joined the company last November as its chief financial officer.
