Sure Fit revamps its mgmt. staff

NEW YORK -Sure Fit Inc., a slipcover manufacturer, has added to its marketing and account management teams.
Jeanie Monroe, previously vp of marketing and communications at Danskin Inc., joins the company as creative director responsible for photography and direct marketing development.
Ranjana Sharma joins Sure Fit from Premier Mortgage Services in the position of Web site project manager responsible for site administration and coordination of marketing and design initiatives.
Two new managers have been added to Sure Fit's unique Account Management Department, which is devoted to the company's vendor-managed business strategy.
John McCarthy comes to Sure Fit from Boscov's Department Stores and will be working with specialty chains and television shopping accounts. Barbara Gatens, formerly of Nestle, USA, will handle the company's catalog accounts.
In other company news, Liana Toscanini, who has been with Sure Fit since 1993, was promoted to vp of insurgence, responsible for challenging management's concepts of image, investment, intelligence, and integration. Janet Solomon, vp/sales & special projects, has been given additional responsibility for the marketing and sales coordination of new programs including Dining Room Chair Covers, Slouch Furniture and Specialty Products.
Bolanile Jacobs was promoted to marketing manager of photography and multi-media.
Sarah Falcinelli was promoted to retail & merchandising director, and Tracie Benjamin to retail merchandising manager.
