Ross Names New SVP, CIO

Pleasanton, Calif. —Ross Stores has named Michael Kobayashi senior vice president and chief information officer, effective Dec. 16.

Kobayashi will report to Jim Peters, the president and chief operating officer.

Kobayashi spent the past 18 years with Accenture, most recently as a partner with the Retail and Consumer Goods practice. He has been acting in an interim leadership role in the information technology department at Ross Stores since July of this year.
