Ashford Court Calls Evergreen New Parent

Richmond, Va. —Ashford Court is under the new majority ownership of home and garden, gift and decorative item company Evergreen, also based here.

Evergreen operates three divisions — Cypress Home, a kitchen decor company; Evergreen Home and Garden, a gift and decorative item home and garden decor company; and Evergreen Flag, a decorative flag company.

Evergreen is treating Ashford Court as a company separate of its divisions, but one that can complement — in product offerings and distribution — Evergreen's divisions, and vice versa, owner Frank Qiu said.

The original founders of Ashford Court — Amy Bell and Neil Zuber, among others — still retain minority ownership of the company.
