Park Smith Brimming With Color

From the New York Market —Park B. Smith Ltd.'s color statement for spring extends from the company's bedding, through window coverings, decorative pillows, bath, table linens and blankets and throws.

Color is featured in solid colors in window coverings and shower curtains especially in String Time, as well as in Magic Blinds. Bold color is featured in one of the three new rug groups, Pop Rugs, a multi-color large dot motif.

Dancing Dots, colorful oversized dots, are printed on cotton for a comforter with a stripe reverse and matched to Shag in decorative pillows.

More color in bedding is seen in Firefly in Pop blueberry and Pop mango.

Moving to another level in the window covering business, the company has expanded its fabric offerings with Mod Stripe, a contemporary strip; Coach, a faux leather in five colors; and Clearfield, a cotton seersucker. Brights also are featured in Classic Voiles. Bamboo adds a new dimension to the Magic Blinds program.

Bath rugs are shown in three groups: the Pop Rugs group; Tranquility, a rayon/cotton chenille blend in new shades of mineral blue and guava; and Tatami in shades including black, redwood, and sage.

Shower curtains are highlighted by String Time and canvas in brights and Tufted Flower, as well as a dramatic large floral motif that covers the full width and length of the curtain.

Magic Makeover, a mix and match bedding collection, lets customers pick the pieces and colors they want.

Following the pre-market launch of its Daniel Boulud Kitchen collection, the company has introduced a series of kids aprons (sized appropriately), wine bags in leather and prints, and a collection of terry towels.
