Dan River Rolls Out Licensed Lines

New York—Dan River has unveiled six bed patterns in its extensive new Caribbean Joe home license and four Country Living bedding designs that coordinate back to the collection's new throws, accent rugs, dec pillows and matelasse coverlet.
In bedding, the Caribbean Joe license includes Isle De Palm, a banana yellow jacquard; Floral Cove, a tropical floral print on a textured ground; St. Jacques, a taupe and cream jacquard leaf motif; Tropical Check, a brown windowpane design with dolphin blue accents; Camo Palm, a jacquard with an overlapping shadow effect in accents of blue, brown and green; and Lantana.
The collection also features Reed Hill, a solid-sheet program in nine colors; seven beach towels; a Palmaire bath towel in four colors; a Hibiscus bath towel in two colors; Sandy Bay bath accessories; five freestanding decorative pillow designs; coordinated accent rugs; and a quilt in two colorways.
New Country Living bed patterns are Rustic Stripe, Serene, Heirloom and Crewel Vines. Rustic Stripe features vertical stripes on cotton twill in barn red and cream. Serene is a matte pique look in mint and cream paired with a buffalo check sheet. Heirloom offers a vintage sheeting look in white with hemstitching, ribbon embroidery and hand-knotted accents. Crewel Vines has rope stitching on a natural ground with taupe accents. Also included are matching accent rugs; plus chenille, crochet and knit throws and dec pillows.
Glen Ellen Brown, vice president of brand development at Hearst which publishes Country Living magazine, added, “We are excited by the potential to deliver on our customers' needs with a line of bedding that fits her personal style and communicates the casual, comfortable Country Living aesthetic.”
In Lilly Pulitzer, Dan River has added three new bed patterns and one quilt. New looks include Queen Bee, Pink Sorbet, Jungle Orchid and a Hibiscus Hideaway quilt, which has pastel pineapples and hibiscus on a white ground with a scalloped edge and multicolored stitching. Queen Bee is a patched seersucker look featuring ruffled accessories and embroidery taken directly from Pulitzer's line of apparel. Jungle Orchid is a floral print comforter in passion, sky blue, periwinkle and white. Pink Sorbet is a tossed paisley design.
Other additions to Lilly Pulitzer include a Pineapple bed skirt in pink or lime; Pineapple Prominade embellished towels in pink or passion; Pineapple Prominade ceramic bath accessories; a multicolored Celebration Stripe shower curtain; a Veranda Wrap in lime/pink or lemon/passion; and a Rainbow Ribbons dec pillow in pink or passion.
New Alexander Julian bedding includes: Tuscan Square, a yellow box design; Sheridan Square, a multicolor geometric blue pattern; Emotions, a red tonal look; Rythmics, a black and cream bed; and Graphix, a new solid sheet in wintergreen, chamomile, fawn, russet, chambray and berry. In addition, four new colors (grape, evergreen, walnut and Pacific) were added to the Watercolours sheeting program.
In Dan River's department store line, 17 new patterns were introduced in Marquis as bed-in-a-bag or comforter set programs featuring a 250-count coordinate sheet. There are four new looks in Supreme Dimensions comforters sets and six patterns for Supreme Dimensions printed bed-in-a-bag, both with coordinating 300-count cotton sheet sets. In prints, there are 12 new bed-in-a-bag looks that come with 250-count-blend sheet sets.
