Atteberry leaves Kmart
Kmart Corp.'s Vice President and General Merchandise Manager Robert Atteberry has left the company, Kmart Corp. confirmed with HTT.
In his former position, which he held since May 2003, Atteberry was responsible for managing all merchandising functions in hard and soft home, do-it-yourself, horticulture and outdoor living.
Three months prior to that he worked as divisional vice president, merchandising, hard and soft home. He first joined the company in 1996 as a planner.
Third Sears Grand to open in Vegas
Sears, Roebuck and Co. opened its third Sears Grand pilot store in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 31.
The 165,000-square-foot store, located at 4355 Grand Canyon Drive, features a combination of private and national brands.
Shoppers will find a selection of new products and services such as books and magazines, key cutting, diapers, books, healthy and beauty aids, CDs and DVDs, and pantry items, stated the company. Sears Grand offers usual Sears items such as appliances, lawn and garden supplies, tools, automotive products and services, sporting goods, apparel and hardware.
