Questrom bestows JCPenney annual chairman's awards

PLANO, TEXAS — Two home textiles buyers and three product development executives for the Home Collection were among those presented with the 2003 Chairman's Award at JCPenney.
They were among the 248 managers from across the country cited by Allen Questrom, chairman and CEO, for managerial excellence.
Only the top 15 percent of all store, district, buying units and division managers can qualify based on results.
In home textiles, Billy Presser, buyer of made-to-measure draperies and window hardware; and Nancy Busher, ready-made drapery buyer, won awards.
In addition, Deborah Evans, product development manager, JCPenney Home Collection; and Steve Castella and Katie Erb, both product development managers for the Home Collection, were cited for their work.
