Claiborne launches line of bath towels

SAN FRANCISCO — American Pacific's Liz Claiborne license is jumping into bath towels with a reversible solid-color collection in 12 colors, and four varieties of jacquards in five colors each.
The Solid Reversible towels are oversized with an embroidered signature logo and a 20 percent color variance from front to back.
The towels come in linen, maize, lichen, sage, charcoal, grape, rose, tangerine, navy, ivory, quartz and cranberry, and will retail for $12.99. The four new jacquard towels include the following patterns: multi-weave, leaves, dots and fashion plaid.
In bath accessories, new patterns include Modern Floral and French Laundry in ceramic, and Cloisonné and Ripple in resin, respectively featuring a vertical pattern and a crystal-cut wave in five colors.
In bedding, some of the most significant introductions are Sasha, a buffalo check plaid bed in silk dupioni in a sage and neutral palette, paired with a 310-count sateen pick-stitch sheet; French Laundry, a cotton linen blend with all-over embroidered sateen piping, originally launched in flax, now updated in a new butter coloration; and Zoe, a wide-wale corduroy and microsuede bed with laser-cut embroidery detail.
From the independent duvet program, the company is highlighting Torey, a microsuede look with pieced wide-wale corduroy in fawn and stone colorways.
