Hollander names svp, fashion bedding

BOCA RATON, FLA. — Mason Carroll has rejoined Hollander Home Fashions as senior vice president, fashion bedding in Boca Raton, effective March 15. He replaced Sandy McNeil, who left the company to head up a new bedding division for Hoffman Mills.

Previously, Carroll was vice president of operations at Neworld, a Pakistani bedding manufacturer based in Ranlo, N.C., for 18 months. Before that he was vice president of operations at Guilford Home Fashions for about five and a half years. Prior to his role at Guilford, Carroll worked at Hollander for five years (1992 to 1997) as vice president of manufacturing and operations in the fashion bedding division.

"We recognize that in today's world, the number one skill set needed for success in coordinating a fashion bedding venture is operational ability, and we feel Mason's skills are unprecedented in his knowledge of manufacturing and international sourcing," said Jeff Hollander, president and chief operating officer of Hollander Home Fashions.

He added that while at Hollander, Carroll re-engineered the company's quality department garnering major vendor recognition and set up operations for fashion bedding.
