828 Int'l taps Bono to head creative efforts

GREENVILLE, SC — Area rug supplier 828 International has appointed Rosanne Bono to the newly created post of director of design, responsible for organizing and implementing a new product development process as well as determining creative focus for the company. She reports to Jim Clardy, president, and John Shepherd, ceo.

Previously, Bono worked in design and development for Hendersonville, NC-based Manual Woodworkers and Weavers, where she produced many top-selling designs.

"We have been searching for the right time and individual to fill this very important position," Shepherd said. "Bono brings valuable expertise that will help us streamline our production processes to systematically research, develop and market new designs that fit our target customer."
