Am. Pacific adds to Nautica Home

NEW YORK – American Pacific's Nautica Home spring fashions include seven new bedding collections, two independent duvets, eight quilts and coverlets, eight window treatments, four hard bath lines, three new towels and about 19 different shower curtains.

New looks for bedding include Andover, East Hampton, Amagansett, Avignon, Bali, Savoy and Hamilton, all of which have matching quilts and window panels. Andover is a rugby cotton knit jersey that reverses to chambray in hues of navy, gold and hunter green with 210-count yarn-dyed watch plaid sheets.

Accessories feature rugby shirt details such as twill taping and buttons. East Hampton features a new lightweight seersucker fabric in apple green and white that reverses to pink with 210-count yarn-dyed plaid sheeting. Dec pillows feature white twill, delicate grosgrain trims and embroidery.

Amagansett offers a pieced cobalt blue seersucker fabrication that reverses to solid orange and features a burnt orange ribbon trim. Overall, the look is fashionable and modern in cobalt blue, navy, orange and white. Sheeting consists of a 210-count yarn-dyed watch plaid in tones of red and orange. One of the dec pillows also has embroidered lobsters on orange twill. Shams have a white corduroy face with cobalt blue flange.

Avignon is a distressed oversized floral print on slubby cotton twill that reverses to textured cotton in robin's egg blue; other colors in the pattern include sepia, moss green and straw. Sheets are a 210-count yarn-dyed windowpane check. Bali shows off an Indonesian block printing technique on textured weave cotton in navy that reverses to the positive of the comforter in ivory. Sheets are a slubby cotton with a subtle top beam work effect created by raised pin stitching. Euros and bed skirt are a yarn-dyed stripe and the quilt picks up all the different fabrics on stitched linen.

Savoy is an all white textured duvet made on a dobby loom with top beam honeycomb striped woven into the fabric that reverses to a white seersucker. Its 210-count cotton sheets feature a top beam stripe; shams come quilted or in a honeycomb variety to match top of bed; and a white denim bed skirt adds a casual flair.

Hamilton creates a preppy look with tennis club inspired details such as the Nautica crest and chunky cable knit sweater dec in French blue, white and yellow. Top of bed is an engineered plaid with top beam motif that reverses to French blue twill and windowpane sheets are 210-count combed cotton twill. Extra touches include a white pique bed skirt, shams that reverse to blue twill and Euros with windowpane and pique accents.

Nautica also revamped its best-selling Crew comforter with fun new accessories like a 220-count Navigation Stripe sheet in navy and khaki or red and navy, both on a white ground. There's also new dec pillows — one is navy twill with embroidered nautical flags, the others are color blocked. The new Euro sham is mitered in navy and chino.

New independent duvets include Washed Linen in flax and navy, and Bedford Gingham in red and French blue. New colors of blush, straw, hydrangea and seafoam have also been added to the existing Mariners Cord duvet.

In quilts and coverlets, new looks include Spring Haberdashery, Laguna, Chatham, Tropical Pineapple as well as new colors on the Mariners Cord coverlet. There were also several blankets and throws.

In shower curtains, new colors were added to the Slicker design in coral reef, lagoon, lime green, tangerine and cobalt blue.

A line of vinyls was also introduced in different prints such as hibiscus stripes and tropical isle. Each print comes in multiple colorways to match the new Slicker color palette. There are also opaque nylon curtains with vintage surfboards, scenic palms and other fun prints. There were four new looks in hard bath accessories: Hammered Glass, which is painted on the inside with nickel accents outside; Cobalt Beveled Glass; Bali, a ceramic look with wax relief printing and wooden accents; and Wood Twist.

The company also expanded its towel assortment with 12 new solid colors added along with three new fashion towels: windowpane, navigation stripe and double stripe on the bias, each available in three colorways.
