Fallani and Cohn inks licenses

TAPPAN, NY— Table linens and kitchen textiles supplier Fallani and Cohn has signed two licensing partnership, one with designer Pamela Scurry and one with Showoffs LLC, the master license for the Shag and American Vintage brands.

Ana Werbel, national sales manager, Fallani and Cohn, told HTT that the company will produce coordinating lines of table linens and kitchen textiles, all imported from Taiwan, China and India, as well as accent rugs that are made in Egypt, for each of the three new lines.

Soft launches for seasonal designs are slated for February. The official launch is scheduled for April.

Kitchen offerings include kitchen towels, pot holders, oven mitts, chair pads, decorative pillows and aprons. The table linens offerings include tablecloths, placemats, napkins, napkin rings and runners.

"We went to Fallani and Cohn because they have a very long history in the table linens industry of doing quality products. They have long experience working with licensed design, and their customers — specialty and department stores — are the right fit for us," said Robbie Sumberg, who with Joan Lieberman co-owns Westport, CT-based Showoffs LLC.

The three lines target specialty and department stores, with price points yet to be determined.

Fallani and Cohn's other licenses include Waverly, Royal Doulton and Woolrich. Showoffs also works with the Nick & Nora brand for home products.
