Bed Bath board expands to nine members

UNION, NJ — Bed Bath & Beyond has elected Fran Stoller and Stanley Barshay to its board, expanding it to nine members.

Fran Stoller is a partner in the law firm of Loeb & Loeb LLP, where she serves as Managing Partner of the firm's New York corporate practice, and she has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate and securities matters.

Stanley Barshay is the chairman of the Schering-Plough Consumer HealthCare Corp. where he has responsibility for such brands as Claritin, Coppertone and Dr. Scholls. Before joining Schering-Plough in June, he served as svp of American Home Products, now Wyeth, where he spent 32 years.
