OWA taps nat'l accts vp

DALTON, GA — Oriental Weavers of America recently appointed Gerrit Swearingen to the new post of vp, national accounts. He reports to Steve Stultz, senior vp.
Previously, Swearingen was a sales rep for the rug division of Fashion Industries. Prior to that, he held several positions at retail.
He is based at OWA's headquarters here.
"Gerrit brings a wealth of knowledge from many years in the industry," said Barry Kelley, vp, marketing, merchandising and creative services.
The new position was created to support growth in all of its rug programs.
