Easley to retire from Springs

FORT MILL, SC — Springs Industries announced that Bill Easley, president of textile manufacturing, will retire this fall.
His 38-year career with Springs includes posts in operations, including vp of grey manufacturing and president of manufacturing for the Bed Fashions Group, in 1987 he was named vp of human resources and in 1993 he was named president of the former Performance Home Fashions business. He was appointed to his current position in 1995 and has since been responsible for bedding fabric and finishing operations, as well as corporate engineering, product development and research and development functions.
