Webster out, Filippone up at Springs

FORT MILL, SC —Nancy Webster, senior vp of creative development for Springs, has left the company, effective July 3 and was succeeded by Gary Filippone, according to Springs Industries .
"During her five years with the company, Nancy has been a tremendous asset to the company, our customers and our license partners," said Tom Gaffney, senior vp and president of merchandising and marketing. "Gary's 20 years of design experience in the industry and his leadership skills will allow Springs to continue to bring our customers innovative and exciting new products."
Filippone joined Springs in October 2002 as vp of design.
He had previously served as vp and design director at The Robert Allen Group. During his career, he has held a variety of design positions with Dan River, Wamsutta/Pacific Mills and Bibb.
