Nourison appoints evp, names national sales mgr.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — Nourison has named Rita Karmiol to executive vp from vp of sales. She will continue to report to Alex Peykar, principal.
In addition to her new role, Karmiol will maintain responsibility for national accounts, including department stores, catalogs, home centers and the domestics division.
"We are confident that this move will enable our senior management to focus more aggressively on the key merchandising opportunities and growth strategies that Nourison will address in the coming years." Peykar said.
Pat Muschamp has been appointed the company's national sales manager, for which he will assume responsibility for rug and carpet specialty galleries, furniture stores and similar independent retailers nationwide. He began April 14. Prior to joining Nourison, Muschamp was vp for the Southern division of Creston Mills.
