Klear-Vu bows stain-resistant chair pad

FALL RIVER, MA Klear-Vu Corp., manufacturer of the slip-resistant Gripper chair pad, will debut a stain-resistant chair pad during the upcoming New York Home Textiles Market, said president Mark Mintz.
The chair pad features the company's Spill Guard fabric protection and also includes the Gripper feature. Made entirely in the United States, it is set to retail at specialty and department stores and catalogs for $9.99 through $14.99.
Constructions include urethane foam in varied thicknesses and polyester fiber fill.
Cushion styles include chair pads, rocking chair pads and barstool covers. The company is also developing a line of coordinating place mats made of the same stain-resistant fabric.
For the launch of this collection, six solid color looks — Wedgwood blue, light khaki, celadon, hunter, barn red and navy — will be introduced.
In other company news, Klear-Vu has expanded its New York City showroom on the third floor of 261 Fifth Avenue. It is now 1,300 square feet.
The company also upgraded its Web site, www.klearvu.com, to included several new features — product information, contact information and customer support.
