Briggs in as Perfect Fit's senior veep

CHARLOTTE, NC — Perfect Fit Industries announced last week that industry veteran Herb Briggs has joined the company as senior vp of marketing and sales, a new position.
Briggs, who was president of the former Guilford Home Fashions, is responsible for all marketing and sales initiatives including branding, licensing, marketing communications and product development and spans Perfect Fit's new down and father bedding products business as well as the Kennebunk Weavers line of decorative throws.
"I am very pleased to have someone of Herb's caliber joining our executive team," said Louis Morris, president of Perfect Fit. "His well-rounded experience combined with his knowledge will help us continue to build our consumer-oriented marketing strategy."
Briggs will be based out of Perfect Fit's New York showroom at 261 Fifth. Ave.
