Burlington names Gorga exec vp, North America

GREENSBORO, NC — Burlington Industries Inc. has tapped former CMI chairman and ceo Joseph Gorga as executive vp, North American operations. Gorga will report to George Henderson III, company chairman and ceo.
Gorga joined CMI Industries Inc. in 1991 as president of the Elastic Fabrics of America division, later serving as president of CMI's finished fabrics division until his appointment as chairman and ceo in 1996. Prior to joining CMI, Gorga was employed by Milliken & Company for 16 years, where he served in a number of senior positions.
