Wools of New Zealand line grows

ATLANTA — The Wools of New Zealand brand and eight of its area rug supplier partners will be showing off new wares at the Atlanta International Area Rug market in January. Here are some of the Wools of New Zealand's branded rugs being launched for the first time next month:
- Troy, NC-based Capel Inc.: Three additions to its Vente Classics collection of hand-spun, hand-tufted and triple-luster washed rugs;
- West Warwick, RI-based Central Oriental: Several new patterns added to its Modigliani Collection of contemporary rugs that are woven without fringe and feature drop-stitch accents;
- New York City-based Kalaty Rug Corp.: Two new collections — Tabriz and Kabir — that are hand-knotted and accented with silk highlights;
- Atlanta-based Karastan: New Ashara and Persian Renaissance collections and an introduction of the new cut-size rug versions of a Karastan broadloom;
- Adairsville, GA-based Louis de Poortere: New vibrant color patterns in transitional and contemporary looks added, as well as some fine-tuning to the Combines by Louis de Poortere program of coordinated rugs, runners and broadloom;
- Saddle Brook, NJ-based Nourison: Two collections, titled Chateau Provence, a romantic collection of five 18th-century French designs, and New Legends, eight Persian and Middle Eastern designs;
- Dalton, GA-based OW Sphinx: Addition of more than a dozen designs to the Patina collection in jewel-tone colors.
