NEW YORK — It's not every dog that has a birthday party in an upscale home furnishings store. But then Lulu, the spokesdog for Mitchell Gold Furniture, is not just any English bulldog. In celebration, ABC Carpet & Home, Mitchell Gold and Metropolitan Home sponsored "Paws for Design: "doggie decor and canine couture" created by 18 designers and architects for the benefit of the Humane Society of New York.
