Sphinx to open new showroom

AT THE NEW YORK MARKET — To accommodate the company's aggressive growth plans, Sphinx, a division of Oriental Weavers of America, is opening a new showroom here and expanding its High Point, NC, space again.
The new showroom will open in April at the Textile Building at 295 Fifth Ave. The 5,680-square-foot showroom will house the company's machine-made and handmade rugs and Oriental Weavers of America rugs.
In High Point, Sphinx is adding 1,100 square feet to connect its original showroom and the new space added last spring. The expanded showroom will debut at the spring 2003 High Point market.
Earlier Sphinx expanded its Atlanta Rug Market space to include an additional showroom for its handmade rugs.
