Strouds promotes Fahey

CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA — Specialty retailer Strouds has promoted Anne Fahey to vp of merchandise for Strouds' full-line stores. Reporting to Rob Valone, president, Fahey will oversee a staff of five buyers.
She replaces Donna Aidekman, who left the company to pursue other interests.
Fahey joined Strouds in June 2000 as director of bath purchasing and has recently managed the company's luxury linen buying. Previously, she held various merchandising positions with Bloomingdale's and The Broadway, and she began her career at Robinson's Department Stores in Los Angeles.
