Saks Fifth Ave. picks William Morris
William Morris Consulting, a division of the William Morris Agency, has signed an agreement with Saks Fifth Avenue Enterprises (SFAE) to represent and leverage the 61-store luxury retailer in the media and entertainment industries. "Whether you compete on price, selection or convenience, today's retail environment demands an enriched customer experience, and select media and entertainment integration can help you achieve that," said Stephen Sadove, vice chairman of Saks Inc., the parent company of SFAE. SFAE has recently expanded on its various entertainment and media alliances.
Home Depot expands credit card
The Home Depot and Citigroup have announced that they have agreed on a multi-year agreement that will expand The Home Depot's consumer credit card, commercial revolving charge and commercial accounts beginning mid-2003. "This exclusive partnership provides Home Depot with significant competitive advantages, including new service offerings for our customers, which will deliver top-line growth," said Bob Nardelli, chairman, president and ceo. Sanford Weill, chairman and ceo of Citigroup, added, "This agreement builds upon the existing important relationship that The Home Depot and Citigroup already share and demonstrates the breadth of services that we can provide to our clients."
Kmart shows customers appreciation
Bluelight.com and Kmart are rewarding online and offline customers for their support with a free month of Internet access for new subscribers who sign up for the service during the retailer's Customer Appreciation Days. The promotion, which is offered from BlueLight Unlimited Internet Service, is available from May 31 to June 8, and Kmart has planned many other special savings and events for the period.
